Reading and Reflection on Texts
The course will enable the student teachers to –
• develop proficiency in reading and responding to written texts
• appreciate text from diverse fields
• inculcate and promote the skill of reading and writing
• develop reflective reading and writing skill
• plan, draft, edit and present a piece of writing related to their understanding of a text.
Mathematical Modelling in Biology
Mathematical biology is a branch of biology concerned with the construction of mathematical models to describe and solve biological problems. This course aims at the mathematical representation and modelling of biological processes, using techniques and tools of applied mathematics and it can be useful in both theoretical and practical applications.
