AP 302 Counselling Skills and Techniques 2022-23
Objectives:
This Course aimed to provide the students with an understanding of the basic models of Counselling, to introduce students to the skills of counselling, provide an understanding of the theoretical basis of counselling skills, interviewing techniques, counsellor’s personal and professional issues and ethical and legal issues in counselling.
Outcome:It is envisaged that by the completion of the course the students are expected to have a clear and deep understanding of the basic models of counselling, to have familiarity with the theoretical basis of counselling skills, interviewing techniques, counsellor’s personal and professional issues and ethical aspects of counselling.
AP 201 Theories of Personality 2021-2023 batch
This course mainly focuses the important theories and approaches of personality. Students will familiarize with the the various aspects of important theories, will be able to explain behaviour in the light of one theory or an approach or using an eclectic approach.
This course also will enable the students to evaluate a theory scientifically. The application of theory in the diagnosis and intervention will also be discussed.

1. To provide an understanding of the history of field of neuropsychology with special emphasis on various advanced techniques of investigating the brain 2. To account for and interpret the overall brain anatomical, structural and functional subsystems and related behavior 3. To familiarise with primary and higher order neuropsychological processes 4. To develop skills for identifying different dysfunctions of brain by choosing and tailoring the neuropsychological assessment tools |
